MRSA Treatment Guidelines – invitation to participate in a short online questionnaire

The International Society for Chemotherapy ‘s MRSA Working Group is inviting participation in a short online questionnaire to understand the clinical decision-making process around the treatment of both complicated skin and soft-tissue infections (cSSTIs) and nosocomial pneumonia (NP) due to MRSA.

Although some countries have established guidelines for the treatment of MRSA, there is no overall consensus with regard to best practice and many controversies remain. To address this concern, members of an expert panel of infectious disease specialists have developed a series of practical and controversial questions in order to capture the full diversity of opinion and practice within the international community; as such, your contribution is very valuable. Your answers will remain completely anonymous and the results will be published in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents.

The survey comprises 36 questions covering a broad array of topics, including epidemiology, when and when not to treat, choice of treatment, switching from IV to oral treatment, discharge protocols, and duration and route of treatment. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the survey.

The survey can be accessed by clicking on the following link

You will be able to access the survey until midnight on Sunday 11 May, 2014 (GMT).
