About travel grants
The Society awards a number of travel grants to individuals to attend the annual meetings of ECCMID and ICAAC.
Value and number of awards
ECCMID Maximum value of £1000, number dependant on funds available
ICAAC Maximum value of £1500, number dependant on funds available
The BSAC will reimburse expenses, on return, upon submission of original receipts to the Honorary Treasurer.
Eligibility
Travel grants are restricted to BSAC Members resident in the UK or overseas. Grants will be awarded to individuals attending the conference to give oral or poster presentations
MEMBERS WHO HAVE RECEIVED A TRAVEL GRANT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY THE FOLLOWING YEAR (ie if you received a grant in 2011, you will next be eligible to apply in 2013).
The Grants Committee of the Society, who will decide on the awards, will consider Grant applications.

Please submit 1 electronic copy of the application form and the following attachments to tguise@bsac.org.uk PLEASE COLLATE INTO ONE SINGLE PDF DOCUMENT. We are unable to collate paperwork on your behalf.
1 Copy of abstract submitted to Scientific Committee
2 Copy of letter of acceptance of the abstract by the Scientific Committee
3 Brief curriculum vitae (maximum x2 A4 sides)
Postal applications will not be considered. It is your responsibility to confirm receipt if you do not receive an acknowledgement.

ICAAC 2012: 9-12 September, San Francisco
