BSAC Spring Meeting 2007: Magic mushrooms - difficult issues in mycology

Fungal infection is increasingly recognised as an important cause of mortality, particularly in the immunocompromised patient and prevention, diagnosis and treatment presents many and continued challenges.
The BSAC 2007 Spring Meeting will explore current issues and challenges in the diagnosis and treatment of fungal infections.
The meeting is intended for physicians, laboratory technologists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals and trainees with special education and training in microbiology or infectious diseases who are interested in the identification, diagnosis and management of invasive fungal infections.
