As part of the UK OPAT Initiative we will be hosting a series of regional OPAT workshops during 2012. The purpose of the workshops will be to enable local colleagues to meet together, share their experiences, plan the development of new services.
The workshops will include practical sessions in using a series of resources developed by the initiative, including an online business case toolkit, National Good Practice Recommendations for the Delivery of OPAT Services, the national OPAT database and a demonstration of the National Outcomes Registry.
The British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy has provided a grant to fund up to 40 places at each workshop. Each place has a value of £120.00 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
